Abstract
Many other Korean authors reported that incidence of common duct stones are higher than that of gall bladder stones among Koreans in contrast to reports in the western literature where the gall bladder is the commonist site of location for biliary tract stones.
The authors experienced two cases of the huge common duct stones without jaundice, who were succeeded to operation and cured completely by removing them via choledocholomy at the Hanil Hospital.
The romoved stones were 7cm¡¿6cm¡¿5cm and 4.5cm¡¿2cm¡¿1.5cm, respectively, in their size.
Chemical analysis showed the removed stones to consist mainly of bilirubin.
